On-the Job Training: Job Seeker Information

Dear Job seeker:

On-the-Job Training (OJT) is a federally funded program that
provides employers financial assistance for training new employees in the
skills they need to perform their job effectively. To be approved as an OJT
trainee, an individual must meet the eligibility criteria of the Workforce
Investment Act (WIA) for low income adults and dislocated workers. Individuals
will be invited in for a pre-screening interview and assessments to determine
eligibility and appropriateness for the OJT program.

This training opportunity is an investment in your future.
We will work on your behalf to find the best match for your skills and
aptitude. To succeed in reaching your goal it is essential that you follow your
training plan to the best of your ability.
