Nine Star won the first AmeriCorps grant in Alaska in 1994. Since then, our AmeriCorps programs have helped power our company, as well as many other agencies in Anchorage and throughout the State of Alaska! AmeriCorps members earn a living allowance each month (amount varies, based on type of term elected) and members may elect to enroll in the Corps Network medical insurance plan covered by the company.
