Nine Star Education & Employment Services offers a competitive salary and benefits package for full time staff members*, including optional medical and vision coverage, life insurance and long term disability coverage, 10 holidays, and an annual leave bank of twenty (20) days (prorated based on hire date/probation).  After two full years of service each July 1, full time employees qualify for an additional leave day each fiscal year, up to ten (10) bonus leave days. AmeriCorps Positions

Nine Star won the first AmeriCorps grant in Alaska in 1994. Since then, our AmeriCorps programs have helped power our company, as well as many other agencies in Anchorage and throughout the State of Alaska! AmeriCorps members earn a living allowance each month (amount varies, based on type of term elected) and members may elect to enroll in the Corps Network medical insurance plan covered by the company.
